Sanyo HIT PV Modules

Sanyo HIT PV Modules More Sanyo reviews

Sanyo HIT (Heterojunction with Intrinsic Thin Layer) Photovoltaic modules are among the most efficient in the industry with a module efficiency of over 17% on the 200 watt version. Sanyo HIT cells are hybrids, made of thin mono crystal silicon surrounded by ultra-thin amorphous silicon layers.

The Sanyo HIT Modules come pre equipped with MC cables making installation very quick and efficient. They come in varying voltages and currents, there's a Sanyo HIT module for virtually any application. Keep an eye on Sanyo as they continue to develop and improve upon the photovoltaic solar module as we know it.

When I was at the Sanyo offices in San Diego, CA I had the chance to see some of their product line. The HIT technology is amazing, combining single crystal silicon with amorphous creating a truly unique cell that performs very well in real world conditions.

I have spoken to quitye a few online store sales guys who think these are great. They say that the extra power generated when the panel is hot and in haze conditions makes up for the price difference etc. My only real question is why in an industry that offers a standard 25 yr warranty, do they only offer 20 yrs? Do they know something we don't?

I recently has a system 4.2 (21- Sanyo 200 BA3) installed in Hawaii. The meter runs backwards as anticipated, however, I notice on the Sunnyboy 4000 that the system only creates about 2600 KWH maximum.

My question is what readings should I expect to see on the Sunny boy meter in regards to watts and voltage produced by the Sanyos at 12 noon, no cloud conditions?
