I used the 12 W Sunlinq panel to charge my digital ccameral batteries while trekking at 12,000-18,000 feet in kadakh last year. Got full charge on a drained battery in about 2-3 hours at 13,000 feet elevation. Very happy with this product!

I have 4 sunlinq 12 watt panels that are strung together. I have experiance in using these over the course of 2 years.
the one problem they have is that the internal wiring is not the greatest. After 2 years of folding and unfolding these panels, 2 of them failed. I believe its due to the cheap wires inside the panels used to conduct the power out. Seems they get frayed and begin to break after 6 months of daily use. I believe they should upgrade the internal wiring to something that would withstand the folding and unfolding.

can i use this to maintain 2 deep cycle 12 v. marine batteries for a boat on a mooring. would only need a very low trickle charge, and would i need a controller in this case. would it charge through the cig lighter adaptor?
