Kyocera KC Series Modules

Kyocera's advanced cell-processing technology and automated production facilities produce highly efficient multi-crystal photovoltaic modules. To protect the cells from the most severe environmental conditions, they are encapsulated between a tempered glass cover and an EVA pottant with a PVF back sheet. The entire laminate is installed in an anodized aluminum frame for structural strength and ease of installation. All KC series solar modules are supplied with weatherproof junction boxes and installed bypass diodes. All KC Series modules carry a 25 year warranty and are UL listed.

They are unique in that the smaller modules, the 40 to 60 watt are square shaped instead of the typical rectangle. The peak power point is between 16.7 and 17.4 volts depending on the wattage of the module.

I have never personally installed or used a Kyocera KC module but I have been around them and talked with installers of them. I have never heard any complaints or problems with them. Kyocera makes many products, including cell phones and home appliances and all their products are well made and reliable.
