Exeltech inverters deliver the exact output voltage and waveform that exists in home and office environments, guaranteeing that electronic devices will receive a highly regulated sine wave. They are a basic stand alone inverter, no battery charger, no AC input or transfer switch for back up applications.
Exeltech inverters are known for their pure sine wave output, it easily meets or exceeds utility company power. The small 125 or 250 watt versions are perfect for powering sensitive devices in the car, they can be plugged into the cigarette lighter outlet. The larger Exeltech XP inverters are equally at home in an off-grid home or cabin installation, or in a vehicle for AC power in a motor-home or camper.
Someone I know has an Exeltech 1100 watt at their off-grid home. They have been extremely satisfied with its performance, it has never had a problem or failed them in any way.
The small models are pretty expensive with the 250 watt 12 volt MSRP just over $500. If you compare this to a no name cheap modified or square wave inverter for less than $40 for the same power you might think you're getting ripped off. But when it comes down to it the Exeltech XP are far superior, they are true sine wave and they have a 21.5 years MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure) In 20 years you are going to be buying and throwing away a lot of cheap inverters that aren't even sine wave. Buy one Exeltech and have a great sine wave inverter for many years to come.
