UniRac SolarMount components are made of aluminum or stainless steel to keep your mounting system corrosion free and good looking for years to come. Installation of the SolarMount is incredibly easy, there are rails that the modules attach to with either top mounting clamps or bottom mounting clamps. I prefer top mounting clamps for ease of installation, but bottom mounting clamps for aesthetic purposes. Most people don't scrutinize a PV array too close so aesthetics of mounting is rarely and issue, go for the top mount clamps.
The PV modules mounted to the SolarMount Rails can then be installed on standoffs mounted to a roof, or 'legs' on a ground mount. Or rails can be mounted first, then modules mounted to the rails which is usually easier that having the modules mounted on the rails first. SolarMount ground mount legs come in low or high profile and are easily adjustable for angle. I have assembled the UniRac SolarMount mounting system and it really is easy to get it all put together and mount modules on the rails. The rails come in any length you could ever need and you can even splice to rails together to make a longer rail if needed. You can get top mounting clamps for virtually any PV module out there.
